# Convexity Labs > Convexity Labs is a real-time options analytics terminal for Bitcoin. It estimates dealer gamma exposure (GEX), the gamma flip and gamma walls from live Deribit options data, and adds footprint order flow, cumulative volume delta and regime detection from Binance, with every trade archived for replay and backtesting. Access to the terminal is currently by request (invite-only, no public price); a daily Bitcoin GEX snapshot is free and public. Built by Peter Njuguna, a software engineer in Nairobi, Kenya. ## Public pages - [BTC GEX today](https://convexitylabs.co.ke/gex/btc/): daily snapshot — BTC spot, total gamma exposure, gamma flip, main gamma walls, regime; last 7 days. Also as [JSON](https://convexitylabs.co.ke/gex/btc.json). - [What is gamma exposure (GEX)?](https://convexitylabs.co.ke/gex-explainer/): positive vs negative gamma, the gamma flip, gamma walls, GEX for Bitcoin. - [Methodology](https://convexitylabs.co.ke/methodology/): data sources, update frequency, formulas, assumptions and known limitations. - [Access and pricing](https://convexitylabs.co.ke/access/): invite-only; request access, or email peter@convexitylabs.co.ke. - [About](https://convexitylabs.co.ke/about/): who builds Convexity Labs, where, and since when. ## What the terminal does - Gamma exposure by strike, global and local GEX, gamma flip, gamma walls, vanna and charm — from Deribit BTC options, all expiries 0–365 days, recomputed continuously. - Implied-volatility surface and skew. - Footprint candles, cumulative volume delta, depth ladder and order-book heatmap from Binance BTCUSDT. - Regime label (total pin, long gamma, neutral, short gamma, squeeze) with heuristic pin and breakout scores. - A GEX snapshot every 30 seconds and every option trade archived to a time-series database; backtests with structural lookahead prevention. ## Key facts and caveats - GEX assumes dealers are long calls and short puts (the standard convention); it is an estimate, not measured positioning. - The taker side of every BTC option trade is recorded as a proxy for dealer side, but is not yet used in the GEX numbers. - Pin and breakout scores are uncalibrated heuristics, not probabilities. - Analytics only; not investment advice. ## Company - Founded January 2024 in Nairobi, Kenya, by [Peter Njuguna](https://peternjuguna.netlify.app/) — software engineer ([LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/in/peter-njuguna-/), [GitHub](https://github.com/ByteCortex00)). - Case study of how it was built: https://peternjuguna.netlify.app/convexity-labs.html - Contact: peter@convexitylabs.co.ke (founder), info@convexitylabs.co.ke (general) Last updated: 2026-10-13
